images=&#8221;45506,2656,2046,3046,45507&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1718985418132{padding-left: 55px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>THE PROCESS<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Apprenticeship 2000 Application Process:<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are four stages to our application process.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<h5><strong>Registration <span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>(August &#8211; December)<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner companies may visit some local high schools to give a presentation.<\/li>\n<li>Some companies may invite local high schools to visit their facility.<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li><em>These usually take place around November.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>High school students may register during a presentation event.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, we may work with the CDC or guidance counselor.<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li><em>They may ensure the student meets the grade, attendance and other requirements.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Students may also register by completing an online &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/apprenticeship2000.com\/gs\/\">Get Started<\/a>&#8221; form.<\/li>\n<li> Our registration period runs through the end of December each year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<h5><strong>Open House <span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>(January\/February)<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>We will invite those who qualify and register by year\u2019s end to attend an open house with their parents.<\/li>\n<li>During the open house, there will be an informative presentation.<\/li>\n<li>Following the presentation, we will have a question and answer session.<\/li>\n<li>Then, we may have a tour of the facility.<\/li>\n<li>At this point, students can decide if they would like to take part in an orientation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<h5><strong>Orientation <span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>(February &#8211; March)<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Orientations are for students only.<\/li>\n<li>Parents do not attend orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Apprenticeship 2000 will assign each student to an orientation session.<\/li>\n<li>Orientations may consist of hands-on activities and tests.<\/li>\n<li>During this time, partner companies evaluate whether the student is a suitable candidate for our apprenticeship.<\/li>\n<li>Also, the student can decide if our apprenticeship is right for them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<h5><strong>Summer Pre-Apprenticeship <span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>(June &#8211; August)<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>We offer our six-week summer trial period to motivated top-performers from the orientation.<\/li>\n<li>This is essentially a six-week job interview at a partner company.<\/li>\n<li>Our pre-apprenticeship is a hands-on, in depth trial period.<\/li>\n<li>Trainers will evaluate each student&#8217;s mechanical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Each week will be a paid 40 hour work week, which may include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpcc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CPCC<\/a> school day(s).<\/li>\n<li>Students earn a Pre-Apprenticeship Completion Certificate from the state of North Carolina (may be sent to the partner company).<\/li>\n<li>Afterwards, Apprenticeship 2000 offers the top-performers an apprenticeship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>The Apprenticeship:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li> This apprenticeship is four years of learning and <b>earning<\/b>!<\/li>\n<li> Apprenticeship 2000 has <b>NO signing contract<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li> Our apprentices earn a Journeyworker&#8217;s Certificate from the state of North Carolina.<\/li>\n<li> Additionally, our apprentices are awarded a certificate from the USDOL.<\/li>\n<li> Our apprentices also earn an AAS degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpcc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CPCC<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li> Above all, our apprentices are <b>guaranteed a job<\/b> upon graduation!<\/li>\n<li><em>All partner companies offer a competitive salary!<\/em><\/li>\n<p align=\"center\">[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/apprenticeship2000.com\/about\/faqs\/\">Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=&#8221;GET STARTED&#8221;
